May 2010...Ian meets Kaison and the Nasvhille Sounds Game

Earlier this month we traveled to Ohio to meet Ian's new cousin, Kaison Victor.  He was precious and it was so surreal seeing how much Ian has grown in less than a year.  Ian had little patience and did not want to pose for pictures.  He was more interested in tearing Matt and Annette's house apart!

Today we went to the Nashville Sounds game and had a great time.  Ian really likes baseball games which makes his daddy very happy!

Ian's First Baseball Game

We took Ian to his first baseball game on Saturday.  It was SO hot when we got there and we were sitting in the direct sun, so it was kind of ridiculous.  Ian sweats like crazy and he was soaked within 10 minutes.  I also didn't have a hat for him, so I "had" to buy him a little Vandy baseball hat at the gift shop.  I was afraid his head would burn. He left the hat on for about 8 minutes maximum.  By the second inning we were in complete shade and a lot more comfortable.  Vandy was down most of the game but came back to within 2 in the last 2 innings, which made for an entertaining finish.  Ian lasted a whole 9 inning baseball game, which was pretty awesome.  He had a great time!  Of course his mother forgot the camera, but we did get two shots on our phones.

Half Marathon Weekend 2010

We had a great weekend, although the weather wasn't the greatest on Saturday.  7 people ran this year and all finished and are still alive to tell about it!!  Ian had a great time hanging out with grandma and grandpa, Aunts Erin and Chrissy and other friends.  We can't wait to do it again next year!  Thanks to everyone who came down this year.  We had a great time!

Easter and More....

We had a great first Easter with Ian here in Nashville.  The Easter Bunny put some eggs in our front yard, but Ian wasn't exactly sure what to do with them and he was very intimidated by the act of  crawling in the grass.  In the house nothing can stop him now, but out there he just sat in one place.  At least he got some nice eggs (the plastic candy filled kind, not hard boiled!) on his first Easter!

The past few months have been ones of tremendous growth for Ian.  He weighed in at 21 lb 5 oz and was 29 inches long at his 9 month check up.  He is crawling everywhere and into everything (read toilet, trash cans, cat food and water, toilet paper, onto the fireplace ledge to look at himself in the glass etc...).  He is so happy most of the time and sleeps really well.  We love him more every day.

In February, we got to spend a weekend in Cincinnati with Howey, Sara and Jackson Corona.  Ian had a lot of fun playing with his buddy Jack and we had a great time hanging out with the Coronas and other friends from home!

In March Ian and I got to spend a week at home hanging out with family.  He had a great time with his cousins and they were excited to play with him again.

Snow in Nasvhille....

For the first time in 4.5 years when they forecasted snow in Nashville, it actually snowed!
